Tracey Payne
I entered the dental field in 1985, and I’ve had a variety of assignments from insurance, billing and dental assisting to administrative duties. I have worked for Dr. Forwood since 2004. I’m happy to be working in the orthodontic field, and I try to make a difference in each patient’s life by treating each with the utmost respect and care. I always offer patients a kind word and a smile when they visit us. My husband Ty and I have been married since 1985. We have a son and two Rottweilers. I love spending time with my family, lounging in our pool in the summertime and staying involved with our church.
Judy McArdle
I have been working for Dr. Forwood since the fall of 2007. Before joining the practice, I worked in the medical field as a receptionist for eighteen years. I worked first for a family practice and then for a general surgeon. Orthodontics is a new and exciting experience for me. I am really enjoying meeting and greeting all the patients. My husband Mike and I have been married since 1972. We have three grown and married children. We also have one granddaughter and are expecting another grandchild soon. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and my two dog’s. I also like to knit, read, cook and crochet. I have been enjoying interacting with both the adult and young patients, getting to know them, and making them feel comfortable in our office.
Carolyn Forwood
I have worked as an RN in several areas of nursing since 1971 and have been working in Dr. Forwood’s Wallingford office as an appointment coordinator since 1999. I enjoy the enthusiasm of the children at the Wallingford office and their happy faces and bright smiles. I have been married to Dr. Forwood since 1971, and we have three grown children. I enjoy spending time with our family and participating in several local volunteer organizations.
Dental Assistants
Dotti Canavin (Expanded Functions)
I have been in the dental field since 1987 and have worked with Dr. Forwood since 1995. I have experience in general dentistry, periodontics, orthodontics and dental laboratory. I particularly enjoy working in orthodontics and in our imaging and photography program. My husband, Mark and I have been married since 1991 and have a son. Family time, sports, cooking and Church are things I enjoy most.
Darlene Comeau
I have worked for Dr. Forwood since 1999. Before I joined Dr. Forwood’s staff I was a pediatric dental assistant. I enjoy orthodontics and helping the patient feel comfortable about their treatment. I am married and have three children and 15 grandchildren. I am very active in my church and my hobbies include sailing, cooking and shopping. I love being a grandmother!
Sally LaFrance
I received my L.P.N degree in 1969. Since 1970, I’ve been working in the dental field. I was delighted to join Dr. Forwood’s staff in 1988. In addition to dental assisting, I am responsible for ordering both orthodontic and office supplies. My husband Lou and I have three married children, five grandchildren and more on the way! Away from work, I enjoy reading, shopping and spending time with my grandchildren.
Michele Turley
I began working in general dentistry in 1986. I started working in orthodontics in 1988 and I have worked for Dr. Forwood since 1990. I enjoy working in Dr. Forwood’s office because I meet a lot of nice people and I enjoy participating in the creation of their beautiful smiles. I have been married to my husband Bob since 1996. We have two daughters, Katelyn and Erica, and a stepson Bobby. I enjoy spending family time together and traveling in our trailer.
Administrative Staff
Marie Eitelman
I have worked in dentistry since 1983. I have had the pleasure of working for Dr. Forwood since 1988. My duties include those of office manager and treatment coordinator. I am happy to be working in the innovative field of orthodontics, and I love being a member of Dr. Forwood’s team. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband Mike and visiting my two married children and their families. I am looking forward to the birth of my first grandchild. I also enjoy cooking and I am always ready to try new recipes.
Agnes Leaming
I worked for Texas Instruments for 20 years and retired in 1998. I came out of retirement to work for Dr. Forwood in October 2002. My duties include insurance coordination and receptionist in the Wallingford office on Mondays. I enjoy watercolor painting, gardening and learning Italian.
